C 'n G's SongRoads Alliance
Dedicated to helping rescue animals everywhere find their forever home.
Hi, I'm Chipotle, and my family are the best kind of people around. You see, they found me at an animal rescue and let me tell you, I couldn't ask for a better family. My dad Greg is a songwriter, and I had an excellent idea for him. I wanted him to write a song and use it to help other animals find their forever homes, just like me. And so that's just what he did. This project and our songs are born out of a desire to help inspire all you people out there to join the cause and help out too! We want to make the most of the money donated toward this cause. To that end, we have joined with ARK, a group whose mission is to make as many animal shelters as possible more effective in helping animals. Giving money to help rescue animals is noble. That money deserves to go where it is most effective in impacting the lives of animals in a dramatic and positive way.
Hi, I'm Greg Chipotle's dad. Chipotle's story is a journey, from being a stray in the White Mountain area of Northern Arizona to being captured by a kill shelter and eventually being rescued by a no-kill shelter. He barely made it through the test to be accepted by the no-kill shelter, but destiny had other plans. As all this was happening, our dog Dakota passed away, and we began our search for rescue dogs online. In January of 2014, we were planning to head to Flagstaff and thought we might find a dog on our way, so we began to search local shelters in the area. Our search was not in vain, and there was a dog that captured our hearts. We only hoped he would still be there when we arrived. On the morning of January 2, 2014 we waited outside the shelter as they opened their doors, and as fate would have it, we found Chipotle was still there waiting for us to adopt him. And the rest is history. Rescue animals hold a special place in our family's heart, and our songs and this project are a manifestation of that passion. Please join us in helping other rescue animals find their forever homes.
